Je velmi tenk\u00e1, tak\u017ee v\u011bt\u0161ina slune\u010dn\u00edho sv\u011btla projde p\u0159\u00edmo a\u00a0slune\u010dn\u00ed sv\u011btlo, kter\u00e9 projde st\u0159edn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed, tj. krystalickou vrstvou, je pohlceno tenkou amorfn\u00ed vrstvou, kter\u00e1 je pod n\u00ed. V\u00fdstavbou panelu v\u00a0podob\u011b sendvi\u010de ze t\u0159\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00fdch fotovoltaick\u00fdch vrstev, tzv. sol\u00e1rn\u00ed \u010dl\u00e1nek s\u00a0heterop\u0159echodem, lze dosahovat \u00fa\u010dinnosti 21\u00a0% nebo v\u00edce.
