Depuis 2019, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 CSI Solar d\u00e9veloppe des technologies avec une fine couche d\u2019oxyde entre les contacts m\u00e9talliques et le wafer de type N \u00ab\u00a0TOPCon\u00a0\u00bb (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contacts), et lance d\u00e9sormais une gamme diversifi\u00e9 de modules TOPCon avec les cellules de 182\u00a0mm et 210\u00a0mm encapsul\u00e9es par une ou deux couches de verre, et propose des configurations avec diff\u00e9rentes tailles de modules et puissances de sortie pour pouvoir r\u00e9pondre aux besoins d\u2019une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de sc\u00e9narios des caract\u00e9ristiques de dopage diff\u00e9rentes de celles du silicium de type P couramment utilis\u00e9. Le silicium de type N offre plusieurs avantages, notamment une plus faible sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9gradation induite par la lumi\u00e8re (LID) ainsi que de meilleurs coefficients de temp\u00e9rature qui se traduisent par de meilleures performances et une dur\u00e9e de vie plus longue.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>En outre, la technologie TopCon utilise une couche d\u2019oxyde de silicium plus fine pour passiver les surfaces des cellules solaires, r\u00e9duisant ainsi la recombinaison des porteurs et am\u00e9liorant \u00e9galement les performances globales. Cette technologie permet d\u2019atteindre des performances plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es en termes d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de conversion \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique tout en minimisant les pertes d\u2019\u00e9nergie.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>La combinaison avec des plaquettes de silicium de type N conduit \u00e0 une limite sup\u00e9rieure estim\u00e9e de rendement des cellules TOPCon allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 28,7\u00a0%, soit une efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle des cellules PERC avec la face arri\u00e8re passiv\u00e9e, qui est d\u2019environ 24,5\u00a0%. Le processus de fabrication des produits TOPCon est plus compatible avec les lignes de production existantes de cellules PERC, ce qui permet d\u2019obtenir un meilleur rapport entre les co\u00fbts de production et le rendement accru des modules. Dans le dopage de type P, ce sont le bore et le gallium qui sont utilis\u00e9s comme dopants. Chacune des orbitales externes de ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments contient trois \u00e9lectrons. Ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments, lorsqu\u2019ils sont incorpor\u00e9s au r\u00e9seau cristallin de silicium, g\u00e9n\u00e8rent des \u00ab\u00a0trous\u00a0\u00bb dans la bande de valence des atomes de silicium. Par cons\u00e9quent, les \u00e9lectrons de la bande de valence deviennent mobiles, les trous se d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant ainsi dans la direction oppos\u00e9e aux \u00e9lectrons. Seules les charges positives peuvent migrer, car l\u2019atome dopant est fix\u00e9 dans le r\u00e9seau cristallin. La principale diff\u00e9rence r\u00e9side dans le dopage du mat\u00e9riau semi-conducteur utilis\u00e9 dans la cellule.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Voici un aper\u00e7u g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la conception d\u2019une cellule solaire de type N\u00a0:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><ul><li>Substrat\u00a0: La base sur laquelle sont d\u00e9pos\u00e9es les autres couches s\u2019appelle le substrat\u00a0: ce dernier est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une fine feuille de silicium monocristallin ou polycristallin de haute puret\u00e9.<\/li><li>Dopant de type N\u00a0: La face avant du substrat est dop\u00e9e avec un dopant de type N, tel que le phosphore. Comme elle est tr\u00e8s fine, la majorit\u00e9 de la lumi\u00e8re solaire passe directement \u00e0 travers et la lumi\u00e8re solaire qui traverse la partie m\u00e9diane, \u00e0 savoir la couche cristalline, est absorb\u00e9e par la fine couche amorphe situ\u00e9e en dessous. En r\u00e9alisant un panneau sandwich compos\u00e9 de trois couches photovolta\u00efques diff\u00e9rentes, soit une cellule solaire \u00e0 h\u00e9t\u00e9rojonction, il est possible d\u2019atteindre le rendement de conversion de 21\u00a0% ou plus.
