Germany together with Norway plan to connect their electricity distribution grids by undersea cabel.
That will solve most of the problems with overloading the czech grid. 99% of electricity produced in Norway comes from the hydropower plants. The capacity of norwegian pumped-storage hydroelectric power stations will be be used as a battery for storage of suplus electricity produced by german (mainly) wind power plants.
